How long should I use the Normatec 3 recovery Boots?
Session duration
20-30 minutes is typical for most recovery sessions. For more intense fatigue or after long workouts, some extend to 45-60 minutes.
Frequency
Use after each hard training session if possible; for general maintenance / moderate training, 2-3 times per week. For athletes or high workload, can be used daily.
Pre-exercise use
You can use it before workouts (10-20 minutes) on a moderate intensity to warm up circulation.
After exercise
Best window is within a few hours post workout to reduce soreness, flush metabolic waste, reduce swelling.
Intensity / Pressure settings
Start with lower or moderate pressure if you’re new or feeling sensitive.. Increase gradually as you become more accustomed. Use medium to higher settings when needed (but staying within comfort).
Seating / posture
Seated or lying down with legs slightly elevated helps. Avoid sagging or bunching of the garment. Make sure the leg boot fits correctly.
